Annihilus Revealed

About the Time Period- In issue 132, Medusa joined the team due to Susan leaving who latter rejoined in issue 150. She proved an interesting addition to the book, in many ways. At the same time, the Human Torch's uniform was nearly shredded and he used a device to reconstruct it. The result was a variation on the android's uniform. Annihilus hadn't been seen in 6 years, and his origin is revealed in this issue.

Synopsis-
Want change in the book? Well aside from the period when Ben took over the team, it doesn't get much different than this. Johnny grew up quickly here, Ben matured, and Susan's character changed for the better. Annihilus returns to take revenge on the team and to Annihilate the Earth. His origin is also told.

Best Moments-Aside f rom Jack Kirby, John Buscema drew them the best. Classic poses and block like shadows give the book an almost Jack Kirby/Mike Zeck look. Very classic and very much worth it. Kooky devices and great battle scenes make this a definite book to own

Weak Points- Sue Richards is my favorite member out of the original 4. Her breakup from the team, while was a interesting change, wasn't one of my favorites. The story was very well done though.

Over all rating- 4 out of 4 flares of course. I wanted a classic this month.
