Marooned

Synopsis-With the team, minus the Torch, stranded in the negative zone, they discover a fifteen century Spanish Galleon, an old sailing ship and discover that the occupants of the ship were stranded there generations before. The pilgrims tell their tell and talk of the Devil (Annihilus) who has been terrorizing them. The team meets the Hellscout, a warrior from the tribe and must seek the mystery of the energy surge that might bring the end of the world.
The Trapster, under the direction of the Gideon Foundation, invades the Negative Zone with a attack forces and activates the energy Generator to feed it to the receiving stations on Earth. The energy feedback kills a bit of the aquatic life within the region attracting the notice of Namor, the Sub Mariner.

Best Moments- The change of pace for the story was great. I've always loved the exploration stories the best. The story still kept the light hearted fun that has made the book great all these years. The Trapster, who has always been a sort of laughable character finally goes lethal and uses a few deadly traps.

Did I say this before, well let me say it again. This is a great point to jump on. The book is truly living up to it's name, the world's greatest comic.

Weak Points-  The story was very different from the early and current ones, as the characters were. While the book is a vast improvement, the characters are still off, such as Susan. This is but  very minor weak point though.

Over all rating- 4 out of 4 flares. Great book, worth reading, but still it's going a bit too fast. Although I very happy in the direction that it's taking.
